Successful migration from DR to ADSL ?

I decided to move from Ask4 to Origin as they were offering more support post the mid-August switch off. I was fortunate - the code worked and the switch over was smooth. I'm not looking forward to the move back to ADSL as I know well what that means for speed in my location. Perhaps ADSL2 will be better than I fear. Also underwhelmed by the BT employee who tried to convince me that I live only a mile from the exchange - it is in fact 5 miles!
