BT considering Sheffield exchange?
I just got a bizarre email with a link to http://openreach-comms.co.uk/DK5-2KPWB-4...31/cr.aspx

Legit or random spam just taunting me?

I'd say that unfortunately it looks like BT's Mailing List crapping out?

Especially if yours says (ExchangeName) like it does when I click it.

Oh well. If only we were in the US, I'd be able to sue them for millions of dollars for emotional distress Big Grin

Of course you would also have only one ISP available, have to pay many times more for it and STILL get shit speeds.

What I'm curious about is:
Quote:Satisfy your need for speed, with downloads of up to 100Mbit/s – and join our superfast fibre revolution.

How can you get 100Mbit when their DSLAMs are capped at 80Mbit? It would work if they said SPEEDS of 100Mbit, because 80 down + 20 up, but they said downloads.
It can't refer to FTTP either as that is offered FASTER than 100Mbit. :/

Ah, but then I'd have millions and be able to afford a leased line for a month, maybe two Big Grin

Maybe we'll be the first to get an uncapped DSLAM ...
