Sheffield & Attercliffe Exchanges
Both Sheffield and Attercliffe exchanges on the Openreach site have now changed their status from not in their plans to upgrade to ES(Exploring Solutions)

http://www.superfast-openreach.co.uk/where-and-when/

Quote:Exchange Name: ATTERCLIFFE

Status: Exploring Solutions
We’re keen to bring Superfast Fibre to your area and are exploring how best to achieve that. We may deliver it as part of our commercial programme, or by working in partnership with your local authority. At the moment you can’t order Superfast Fibre. For more information visit the FAQ section.

A glimmer of hope maybe for us in the snail lane...Huh

RE: Sheffield & Attercliffe Exchanges
What a strange thing to say publicly. Trying to pressure the council into spending more money perhaps?

RE: Sheffield & Attercliffe Exchanges
This means not in their plans! They have simply removed not in their plans and replaced it with this

RE: Sheffield & Attercliffe Exchanges
if you look at the BT checker website there is no such reason as 'not in their current roll out plans' anymore, they have replaced it with exploring solutions

RE: Sheffield & Attercliffe Exchanges
So basically its a cop-out to try and stop people complaining that their exchange is "not in the plans"?

Sounds like they have taken a leaf out of Origins book of customer service, fob the customer off promising it will all be fine.

My initial reaction was that "any news is good news". My revised reaction is that it isn't news Sadgah. The wait goes on.
