Intermittant Network Issues
The upstream provider for this website have identified an issue within their network. This has been taking place over the last 72 hours and you may have noticed the website generate errors when loading threads, etc.

I have pressed the provider for an update but we're certainly not the only ones affected or annoyed by the lack of updates.

Along with this and the issues over the last few months, I will be considering moving the server to an alternative provider in the near future.

Unlike the provider, I'd like to say sorry for the inconvenience!

RE: Intermittant Network Issues
You should be hosting with a local company that cares about its customers then Smile

Sheffield hosting companies are so darn expensive though compared to the competition.

RE: Intermittant Network Issues
Its not strictly speaking true for anything you don't vitally need an SLA for. My VPS with BHost has been pretty solid and definitely not worth paying 2-3 times more for lower specifications JUST to get an SLA.

I would argue that it makes more sense to get TWO VPS accounts on different physical hosts than it does to have one at a more expensive host with an SLA. If an issue is big enough to affect both hosts you can be pretty sure its a priority for the provider anyway.

Depends if you want a massively oversold service with support by a script reader,or you want a service that isn't massively oversold, built on quality kit and with someone who has the technical skill and authority to deal with your problems Smile

RE: Intermittant Network Issues
Its pretty obvious the site is NOT hosted with such a provider, so what exactly is your point?

I also haven't noticed any signs of my BHost VPS being on an oversold machine and its running on quality kit. The technical support has also been perfectly fine, especially for the price.
