RE: Origin adds
Yeah, they're sponsoring the breakfast show. That's probably why there was no coverage of the shut down debacle on Hallam FM. You really can buy silence!

RE: Origin adds
Very poor decision to run an advert like that right now, it feels like a kick in the nuts.

It basically describes what every single Origin customer who were cut off THOUGHT they were paying for and Origin failed to deliver.

Also, I'm as much a fan of Brian Blessed as the next person but he is damn annoying to listen to on hold telling me how important my call is and I even find his voice patronising in the advert.

Also, my remaining respect for Brian Blessed is now none existent. He'll pretty much do anything for a bit of cash these days!

£1500 a time. Fact.

http://freeyorkshirebroadband.com/ - no T&Cs there. Someone want to contact the ASA?

RE: Origin adds
I could think of quite a few things they could have better spent £1,500 on!

@alexatkin

This is the same company at the moment who is now selectively responding to tweets on Twitter, isn't responding to complaints, still isn't doing callbacks and wants to only recruit sales advisors.

Further down the rabbit hole....

RE: Origin adds
I don't think its fair to hold an actor responsible for vetting the company they do a voice over for, unless they are outright endorsing the company.

If everyone had to be held morally responsible for the behaviour of the companies they worked for, there would be a heck of a lot more unemployment. I mean geez, how must the poor sods who work for the Jobcentre feel.
