I believe it is indeed Thales charging a fee, why is anybodies guess as its completely stupid.
I can understand the installation fee as it requires paying Openreach to come out, but a fee to change your line profile? Utterly stupid. I suspect it all comes back to them expected some big ISPs to come on board who can afford to shoulder those fees, absorbing it over time from long time subscriptions. As it is now, especially with more areas now having Infinity, they need to step up their game. |

Just to clarify Origin's position on upgrades. Upgrade to any Package under 6 Months £15 to upgrade New contract term. Upgrade to any Package over 6 Months Free to upgrade New contract term. Hope this helps! Origin

Does that mean you can only change package for free every 6 months, or can you change more often as long as you have already been with Origin for 6 months already?
