If the forum had a Facebook style Like button, I'd be pressing it right now lol

I actually just LOOKED for the like button on the forum and had a bit of a Sadwhen I realised there wasn't one. It also puzzles me how Facebook don't have a dislike button especially as they supposedly use the results for various profiling purposes. How can they know my personality as well as claimed without also knowing my dislikes?

Anyway, the Streets Ahead programme is for Sheffield specifically, so anyone outside Sheffield should not be affected by the work.

Funnily enough we just had the letter through about the street improvements. Drainage being done end of this month (apparently) with street lights Aug/Sep and road resurfacing Oct/Nov.

Its a bit scary as it implies they are actually doing things in the right order so the road/pavement is all shiny and neat instead of digging it up again once its been finished. We shall see if it REALLY happens like that.

Then again maybe they WILL do it all right, but end up cutting through fibre ducts and have to dig up again to fix them.
