RE: Digital Region to close

I think the problem is EU funding rules and a potential payback of 27m for the company that runs the network. This probably makes the risks too large for someone to take on, in direct competition with BT. Someone might be the assets, but looks like the company won't be sold as a going concern. |

RE: Digital Region to close
I suppose my main question is - will my service carry on at the same level? I, and a number of others on the forum, can only get a fibre service through DR fibre - there is NO other option.
I would consider that dropping back to ADSL would not be a "continuation" of my service but I very much fear that is what it will come down to

RE: Digital Region to close
@originb I don't understand how this will work, if there is only DR in my area then if my service is to continue then u must still be using the cable laid by DR or my service would b impossible to continue.
I think they will sell off what they can to BT and Virgin where they don't have cable laid. http://www.quidco.com/user/1417009/232503 |

I'm sure you are being asked lots of questions about this, however it's a pretty dismal decision from all aspects. |
