How much would you pay for an FTTC service?
I'm curious,
For example, would you pay a premium for a high quality service or would you pay less and sacrifice the support side of things? Regards

RE: How much would you pay for an FTTC service?
I'd pay up to £50 per month for a good connection with a company has a UK based technical support team. (I mean technical in that the staff have a brain and are able to discuss an issue with you rather than adhering to a script)
Not interested in any extra services such as TV, phone, etc. |

RE: How much would you pay for an FTTC service?
I think the £25-30 mark is about right. Zen has there internet at £35 (without taking there line) for 80/20 unlimited - and I would class Zen at the very top end for customer service.
I've been with "old plusnet" before, and there service was terrible, even thuogh they were fairly cheap. So i'm happy to pay a little more to access a better quality of support. |

RE: How much would you pay for an FTTC service?
Before DR I had an ADSL connection with PlusNet and their service was a lot better when I left than in the "bad old days". But to be honest my uncapped 24/10 Ignition service with Origin is priced just right for me . I don't need, or even see a need for, anything faster and certainly not if it's more expensive.

RE: How much would you pay for an FTTC service?
Well I'm going back to adsl 6meg max when DR goes. I'd pay £50/month for my current 70/25 meg connection, tbh I prob don't need it but if I want to watch a film, I don't want to wait anymore than 1min for a 1gig file to download lol, I've been spoilt on DR!!!

Up to £30 for FTTC since I'm still quite a way from the cab, and about £5 when I go back onto 2Mb ADSL2+ when DR goes.

I think £40 per month for the top end residential class Fibre connection (Line rental included).

RE: How much would you pay for an FTTC service?
£35 although for that I would expect the maximum my line could handle not the BT capped 80/20 service.
I would possibly be willing to pay more if I could get a FTTP connection instead with the installation fee bundled into the first 24 months rather than an insane up-front cost. |

RE: How much would you pay for an FTTC service?
I'm paying Origin £17.50 for a 24/10mb connection.I'm fine with that.,its ample for my needs.
I wouldn't expect to pay more that £10(probably £8 to £10) for ADSL,especially as the best I can hope for (non LLU)is 2mb Before I went with Origin I was with O2 LLU on their unlimited Legacy package. In 3 years I never paid more than £7.50 a month.I was averaging around 2.6mb,and on a good day I could sync at 3mb.

RE: How much would you pay for an FTTC service?
I can get 20mb+ on ADSL, so paying £25 for 40mb is about my limit..
