How is Oliver still winning awards after the shambles he pulled?
Quote:Origin Broadband, led by 25 year old Oliver Bryssau, was named the Business of the Year while Bryssau won the prize for Young Person in Business at the British Chambers of Commerce Awards 2014.

Quote:The judges praised Bryssau's technical skills and ability to recognise talent in others. Origin Broadband received a £10,000 prize as the British Chambers of Commerce Business of the Year.

RE: How is Oliver still winning awards after the shambles he pulled?
Even if Origin Broadband WAS the best ISP on the planet right now they STILL wouldn't deserve an award, purely based on how poorly they handled communication about Digital Region.

It doesn't matter if hypothetically they did everything in their power to avoid the down time, there are too many glaringly obvious communication cock-ups to warrant an award.

Now had they kept their customers informed and actually done call backs as promised, that would be different.

Such awards are normally purchased, one way or another.
