Good to hear, Openreach engineer just came to my house today as planned and connected us up. Finally back on fibre after a good 2 months+ and getting a solid 70 down, though i'm expecting it to fluctuate over next 2 days.

Back to fibre next Wednesday if OReach bother and as I said earlier tbf the adsl has been as good as it can be solid no issues hitting just under 2m

As I work from home, and walk the dog once a day, I'm sure I see the OpenReach van next to our cabinet at least 3 times a week

Makes you wonder just what the heck they are doing in there

I drove past one the other day in Crookes which was open while the guy was doing something

Not all the cabinets are well maintained so can have a lot of faults. Mine fortunately was replaced before fibre, probably a reason my connection was so good.

Reconnected this morning, Thu 30th Oct (11 weeks off)

Openreach guy was very quick and helpful - we're getting 77mbps according to his machine

Speedtest gives me about 53 - give it a few days to settle

Finally watch iPlayer again!
